Trek off-the-beaten-path to the biggest Gurung village in Nepal
For those wanting a bit more exercise and a unique cultural experience, Siklis trek offers a camping-based trek with magnificent scenery and fabulous local character. Trek along the Madi River Valley before heading up through terraced fields, alpine meadows and rhododendron forests. With over several hundred neat slate-roofed houses huddled on a hillside, this seldom-visited village is the biggest Gurung village in Nepal, where traditions still run strong with shamanism.

Day 5/6 Continue through lush temperate forests and small settlements to the biggest Gurung village of Siklis (1,980m) with great views of the Annapurnas and Manaslu
Day 7 At Siklis; rest and exploration
Day 8/10 Follow trails through terraced fields and remote villages to the beautiful Begnas Lake (630m)
