Day 4/5 Drive to the old Newari trading town of Bandipur (1,030m); rest and explore
Day 6/7 Drive to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara (820m); optional hike to Peace Stupa for stupendous views of Pokhara and the Annapurnas
Day 8 Drive to the old town of Tansen (1,343m)
Day 9/10 Drive to Lumbini, the Buddha's birthplace and explore the many monasteries
Day 11/12 Drive to Chitwan National Park and view wildlife from the elephant's back
