
Chitwan National park is the first national park of Nepal. Gazetted in 1972 the park is home to Royal Bengal Tigers, Asian one horned rhinos, Asian Elephant among others. The tropical jungle offers rare opportunity for bird watching, jungle safari, boating and cultural programs conducted by indigenous Tharu tribe.
The park is situated at a 4 hours drive from Kathmandu and can also be reached regular air flights.

Day 1: Departure to Chitwan. Village sightseeing and elephant stable visit after Lunch. Night cultural program.
Day 2: Breakfast followed by canoe and jungle excursion. Elephant ride in the jungle.
